It took me 15 years to revisit the beautiful city of Barcelona, and I can’t imagine why I waited this long. During Christmas vacation I took off to warm up at the south touring the east coast of Spain and spending a few days to re-explore Barcelona. Needless to say, it was nothing like I remembered it, my whole perspective on the world has changed, how I travel has changed, and – in a way – Barcelona also changed. Almost everything I saw in Barcelona, and almost everything I ate or tried, was a treat. It’s a very international, diverse, funky, lively, and happening place, with endless options for explorations, it has a unique vibe unlike other large cities. Although my visit was short, I was able to do quite a lot and see wonderful, new, and exciting things.
Before going in to the specific attractions, as usual, I’ll kick it off with my visions of Barcelona.
