Chi-nan Temple (指南宮) in Taipei’s Muzha area is one of the most beautiful spots I’ve been to in Taiwan. Up on the mountain, overlooking the city of Taipei from the south, the temples are gorgeous and the view is absolutely breath-taking. I could spend ages in a place like that, just resting down with something to drink, looking out and watching the people.
You can use the new Maokong Gondola, another one of those impressive projects Taiwanese usually doesn’t seem to think much of, but I got there by bus and climbed the big steps to the first temple in the 4-5 temples that are up there.
Soon enough, on the top, beauty emerges:
Inside the temple, there were some interesting ceremonies :
Moving on to the other temples …
I miss mountains and fresh air, couldn’t get enough of what’s there. I love it how there are so many different things to see and do in Taipei…
I am glad you like Muzha. I love it. But what about the tea and the tea shops on the top of the Maokong mountain.
Yeah, I visited there two years ago. I’m hoping to go visit again in one of my future Taipei trips. Any spot you like in specific?
Chi Nan Temple….if u want to break up with ur girl friend or boy friend, just take them here.. and ur dream will come true..XD XD XD, I mean it!! All the Taiwanese know the legendary tradition! So far my friends only go there with their family or friends…
