My favorite moment in my last visit to Barcelona was up on the Temple of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (Sagrat Cor) with panoramic views of gorgeous Barcelona from high up in the mountains. A short bus ride from Barcelona through the winding roads up to the tallest mountain of the area, a climb through narrow stairs, and you’re up standing next to statues of Jesus and saints on top of the world! On a clear day, with a calm breeze, this is as good as it gets. The views up there are absolutely spectacular and looking in every direction. Once you’re done taking it all in, there’s an amusement park down below with some rides taking full advantage of the location and the views, something that little ones would probably enjoy, without boring adults too much.
What does it feel to be up there? Here are a few photo captures to give you a sense of things…
And the church itself is beautiful as well…

One the highlights of my trip to Barcelona. Highly recommended, especially on a clear sunny day.
