Bangkok has a number of funky museums but I think Siriraj Medical Museum tops them all. On the surface, it seems quite straightforward. It’s a medical museum in a hospital, showcasing some of the regional medical history. Yet there is something about this museum that made this specific museum a hit, their displayed collection of medical horror. So, once you go through the modern and interesting display of medicine, you get to some old part of the hospital which, I admit, was hard for me to handle. That section doesn’t allow photography, but if you Google it, you’ll see plenty of visitors who took photos regardless, and it’s horrifying. I’ll stick to the easier parts of the museum.
