During the last autumn, I went to South Korea to get a bit of real autumn feeling with some colors. Of all the places I visited, the nicest autumn colors were at the lovely Seoraksan National Park. I was originally planning to take the lift up to the mountains and hike a bit, but it was the weekend at the peak of the season and so it was extremely crowded, and so the parking was overloaded and the wait for the lifts was 4 hours. So once I did make it in, I spent my time there on ground level mainly visiting the temples and Buddhas and enjoying the calm. It was absolutely lovely, and I do hope to have a chance to come back and explore those mountains more, I know I barely scratched the surface of what this wonderful national park has to offer.
Ready for some autumn leaves, Buddhas and temples?
