Late last year I had a quick visit to Paris in gloomy cold weather. My previous visits to Paris were more pleasant in terms of weather, but the one perk of visiting Paris during the winter cold is the Christmas market, stretching out through the Champs-Élysées street all the way to the Jardin des Tuileries gardens and the Louvre.  Lots of Christmas drinks and snacks, and with cute wintery Christmissy atmosphere of snow, Santa, and friends.

Not a Christmas person, don’t even celebrate Christmas, but really enjoy markets like that and seeing locals and tourists, especially kids, really have a lot of fun.
