Ghent is one of Belgium’s top city attractions, featuring a charming old town center, filled with canals and cathedrals, with a laid back bohemian feel, plus lots of options for drinks and food, with music and culture everywhere. During my very short visit I strolled around a lot, did a boat trip around the main canals, went up the cathedral to the observation deck for a panoramic view of the city, and visited the Gravensteen castle.

If you’d like to see a bit of the walk around town, and the visit to the cathedral…
