The French catherdals are world famous, but of all of those the Notre Dame is perhaps the most famous of them all. Among the largest in the world, and with the finest French gothic architecture, this is as good as it gets when it comes to catherdals. Though I’ve seen my fair share of catherdals world wide, the Notre Dame de Paris was on the walking path of many of my Paris explorations and so I found myself returning to that square a few times in different weathers, taking photos of that grand building.
Location:
Almost anywhere you go in Paris in every direction that you take, you’ll find and endless collection of old churches and cathedrals, all famous for one thing or another.
But grand cathedrals are not limited to Paris, oh no, if anything there are even larger UNESCO heritage site cathedrals in towns surrounding Paris, like the Notre Dame of Reims …
It was under renovations at the time I was visiting, but you can still appreciate its grandeur and size.

Be sure to wonder in if you get the chance and find yourself nearby.
