A small hidden gem in the lovely pier area in San Francisco is a museum of old game machines, before video games came to be, when things were a bit more naive and simple. It’s quite remarkable what you could do with a bit of machinery and creative vision, some of those games are just as entertaining as what we have today.
The story behind this place is detailed on their website, go have a look.
Lots of fun machines in there…
There are a few other things to do in pier 45, like decent seafood, and in the back a war-boat, the SS Jeremiah from World War II (which I thought was too expensive to visit):
Location :
Combine this with the sea lions at pier 39 and a walk along the San Francisco boardwalk.
