Medieval Centre Living History Museum: Denmark

To take a trip back in time to experience Denmark in the middle ages go to one of the living history museums around Denmark. I visited the Middelaldercentret Denmark at the south-eastern part in Nykøbing Falster and enjoyed it very much. Lots of actors, old houses, live demonstrations, and thought-provoking life-like exhibits about old ‘technology’ and life back in the days. You even get to load and shoot a Catapult, shoot arrows, and taste some of the good old local cuisine. There are markets, harbor, residential quarters, farms, army presence etc. Really fun stuff. Can easily spend 3-4 hours there exploring around and participating in all the events. Kids are going to especially enjoy all of that.
