While I was exploring Valencia on foot, going around the circular river turned green that encompasses Valencia’s old town from the north, Tripadvisor came up with a small attraction I decided to detour and check out. Jardines de Monforte, or the Monforte Gardens were described as “probably the most beautiful garden in Valencia”, “A wonderful oasis”, and “a secret garden you must discover!”, and the gardens are indeed quite lovely, showing historic Spanish aristocratic gardens with sculptures, fountains, and various plants and flowers. It’s a pleasant detour, and can be combined with the nearby part Jardines del Real, with a very large playground for kids.
Location:
For both gardens I’m not sure I’d make a special dedicated trip if I’m on a schedule. But, on a hot day, if you’re already strolling around the areas, stop in for a quick visit.
