On my way to my new American life in the middle of nowhere Florida I had to fly in to the US through somewhere and looking at the options of NYC, Miami and Boston I knew it had to be Boston. I also had a good excuse of visiting some professors I know in some of the famous Boston schools universities. So, Boston it was, for about a week, and it was a true delight.
First off among the universities I visited is the legendary Harvard, better known among the guided tours given on campus as the "Mark Zuckerberg did this here, Mark Zuckerberg did that there university", or simply put – the "Mark Zuckerberg university". For each one of the buildings below I assure you there is a long long list of great poets, scholars and thinkers who are now turning in their graves hearing that the buildings where they crafted their ingenious crafts are now just places where Mark did things or where a scenes from "the Social Network" supposedly took place.
Luckily for me, for some of those places I actually had a short guided tour by a local faculty or student. This next part is a bit off the main campus, across the river, serving as the prestigious Harvard Business School…
Campus buildings aside, there is also life around campus…
A must component in any visit to Boston. Join one of the many Zuckerberg tours offered around campus, or get somebody local to show you the really interesting bits.
