My last stop in the trip of southern South Korea was Gyeongju, the city of strange old tombs. I started my walk on the northern side, and soon came across large green unnatural looking hills, that marked the beginning of a large park of gardens and tombs with various old archaeological sites, like an old observatory, and ruins of a fortress and temples. I spent almost half a day wondering around the large park, and there’s also an interesting sounding museum nearby which was closed at the time I visited.
