After all these years in Hong Kong there are still areas and university campuses I have not been to. One such example is the Education University of Kong campus, up near Tai Po Market. It is only recently that I made my way up to the northern part of Hong Kong to finally visit that university. Took a walk around with one of the local faculty.
It’s a small campus, set in the lush green northern new territories, next to the gorgeous giant white marble Buddha of the Tsz Shan monastery. It’s traditionally a university focused on education, hence the name, but has in recent years expanded to include other departments, and is trying to catch up with the other Hong Kong universities in terms of research impact.
