Lots of great areas to explore and attractions to visit in Malaga, but to me the number one attraction – by far – was the Castillo de Gibralfaro. It’s right at the center, and quite a hike up the mountain, but the views of Malage and the bay from above are absolutely spectacular and then, ofcourse, there’s the actual fort and the history of the place. It dates back to the 10th century Phoenicians and has seen its fair share of wars over the strategic location. Much that remains from more recent updates to this fort, and you can easily spend a couple of hours just walking around the fortifications and looking down at panoramic views of Malaga in every direction.
Let’s hike up the mountain…
and take in the views…
Walking the ramparts around the fort…
Location:
Definitely a must if you’re in Seville. Do not miss this…
