The Bangkok Folk Museum or the Bangkokian Museum in, well, Bangkok, was a pleasant surprise and definitely not what I expected to find when I went to have a look. An old house surrounded by green, taking you back in time to more innocent days of Bangkok. It’s an estate of a upper-middle class Surawadee Thai family from the mid 20th century. Gives you a feel for what life might have felt like back in the days.
There’s English everywhere, lots to see and explore, and photography is encouraged 🙂
Let’s go in…
There’s a lovely back yard, with a cafe, and a room full of old artifacts…
