This summer I finally had the opportunity to visit Granada in Spain with a conference taking place in the area. I roamed the city in the little time I had before and after the conference, some with conference organized tours (which I rarely do). Granada met and exceeded my expectations, with one of the main highlight being a visit to the Alhambra Moorish palace. I usually do these things on my own, but this time there was a tour arranged by the conference I was attending, and this proved useful as the tour guide added a lot of color to the place, with stories of the historical context and gossip of the local life back in the days. You can venture around the complex for half a day and enjoy the gorgeous architecture and the stories of the complex history.
Here’s a bit of what you can expect to experience during the visit…
