In the Negev desert of southern Israel there are a number of very large craters, the most famous of those being the Ramon Crater. But the lesser-known ones are also a sight to behold, gorgeous desert scenery that will take your breath away. While roaming through Beer-Sheva I decided to take a detour and go see the Big Crator, Ramon’s little brother but still very grand – as the name suggests.
To get the best views of the crater you can drive up with a car to a nearby mountain, from which you’ll get to see this…
Or how about some panoramas?
As far as desert scenery, this is as good as it gets. It’s only you… and nature…
Location :
If you’re in the Beer Sheva area and have already seen the Ramon Crater, this is less commercial and just as – if not more – impressive.
