Cosplay is one of those things that I can’t ever get enough of here in Asia. I honestly can’t resist an opportunity to take random photos at a Cosplay event and so the annual Ani-Com HK exhibition is this one time during the year I know I’ll just have to go and spend a couple of hours walking around taking photos of Cosplayes. I was there in the Anicom 2009, and went back again this year.
Discover Hong Kong writes about Anicom:
2011 – 13rd Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong
As one of the best-known fairs in Asia, the annual Ani-Com & Games Hong Kong is the hottest event in summer for the younger generation. More than 500 booths packed with innovative products and activities related to animation, comics, online games, electronic games and edition collectibles etc., the turnout of this five-day fair hit 680,000 in 2010.
Date: 29 July – 2 August 2011
So, here are some of the Cosplaying highlights… tell which one do you liked best…
(Note to organizers : it would have been much nicer if you would put background boards for the photoshoot instead of this exhibition-people mess.)

Nice post Fili! Hong Kong teenagers are truly crazy about comic characters..Love the pink and blue hair girl 😀
Nice. I’ve been to a few conventions here in the US that had cosplayers but only about 10% of American cosplayers can actually pull it off. Great pics!
Thanks, James.
I wish there is a cosplay event in Cambodia.
the very last one, green-haired with lilies!
