There’s something special about the Turkish people, a different style of appearance that I generally find pleasant and beautiful. The cultural combinations of modern life and Islamic traditions provide for some interesting people watching.
Following are some of the Turkish people that we met while traveling for a few days in Istanbul, especially around the area of the Gulhane park at the old city. I hope you’ll agree it’s quite charming.
Generally, the Turkish that we met were welcoming, friendly, warm and outgoing, and atleast for those living in Istanbul I could say that seem well-off or atleast content and happy with their lives. Slightly different than the feeling you might first experience when arriving in a place like Hong Kong, and I should only hope that Israelis are perceived in a similar way for those coming for a short visit.
An interesting post!
don’t you want to visit in Constaninopol of the Ottoman Empire some hundrid years ago when it was the capital of the most powerful empire in Europe?
